I started having respiritory problems two weeks ago, and a doctor said it was bronchiolitis, but I did so much reading on the internet recently. I appear to have the classic symptoms of asthma. This is just my opinion, nobody has actually diagnosed asthma.

I'm just hoping this will be temporary and not a permanent thing. It's really quite frightening when I have a coughing fit and I simply can't breathe for a while after that. I'm lucky this is my summer vacation. But after another month I will have to resume my job of teaching English in a primary school. I'm dreading having asthma attacks in the classroom.

Does anyone know if vaping can make this worse? Or would switching to 100% VG make any difference?

I've been vaping nine months and had no health issues until two weeks ago.

I've had asthma since my twenties I have found that a pg/vg mix of about 20/80 keeps my lungs happy. FYI asthma is pretty easy to control, I use a steroidal inhaler as well as the bronchial dilators (albuterol and Floridil and usually have little to no problems. I do note that if I vape heavily all day I get an accumulation of flem so I just keep it dialed down, at least I'M not using analogues anymore which caused far more symptoms than vaping. If Asthma is the end diagnosis see z good pulmonary specialist. I also have a nebulizer at home if I should need it. Oddly enough it vaporizes albuterol.

Good luck to you

Thanks for the advice. I went to a new doctor today. She said it's asthma. So now I have a Seretide Accuhaler which I must use twice a day. I also have some tablets called Singulair. After reading the side effects of these tablets, I am literally too scared to take them. The side effects can be horrific. And when I read suicide, it reminded me of Chantix.
