Well first of all, I must say that carrying my Reo mini onto a plane was not a problem at all. I had juices, batteries, and atomizers in separate plastic bags and never got a second look. Well, actually most of my batteries didn't make it to the x-ray machine. Why? Well that's part of the story, which admittedly has very little to do with my PV. You see, the night before my flight my girlfriend decided that it would be a good idea for me to copy my license, in case I lost my wallet. Well she was right, and I discovered that you can get past TSA without a license. I didn't lose it in New Orleans though, I left in on the copier in my bedroom...meaning I had the pleasure of talking to TSA about this on both directions of my trip. Also, on the way out I was worried about my PV equipment so I already had my plastic bags out when going through the ID part of security. In the process of explaining myself and pulling everything with my name on it out of my wallet, I somehow managed to drop the bag with my spare batteries. I got to go back to TSA and ask about their lost and found though, because I had to visit them again about my phone, because I left it in my hotel room when I left town. Yes that's right, after all this I had the pleasure of talking to TSA a third time. Luckily a buddy of mine had a later flight out with a short layover in Atlanta. He was able to retrieve my phone from my room, take it to Atlanta with him and then take it to one side of security while I was on the other. TSA was able to walk the phone through so that he didn't have to get out and then go back through security.

Whew, didn't mean that to be so long. Hopefully someone else can learn from my errors though, here's the morals of the story:

-Getting past TSA is possible with just a copy of your ID, but not recommended.
-Overnight delivery does not operate on Sundays
-They don't care at all about PVs if everything is separated like you are supposed to.
-You don't need to pull things out of your carry-on bags until after they've checked ID
-Smoking is still allowed damn near anywhere in New Orleans, they don't care one bit about vaping
-For that matter, they don't care at all about having ID(of course I was with a bachelor party completely aged 30+)
-If you have to talk to TSA about losing something in the airport, and leaving something in your hotel room, they WILL look at you like you're an idiot(with good reason)

Whoa, I'd start drinking heavily. Or maybe that was the genesis of the problem. It often is with me :toast:

BTW, I commute from the Fl Keys to LA. Been through TSA at least 40 times since I started vaping. I don't bother to take my equipment apart or even take it out of my computer bag/carry on. TSA does not give a crap about vaping gear.

You can not smoke in eating establishments, most hotel rooms, hospitals, schools etc (except in designated areas if they have em). If a cop stops you for doing something he thinks is illegal he will ask for your license and you'll get in trouble if you don't have one.

Far as vaping goes I have vaped everywhere in hospitals and restaurants even.

Yeah, now that you mention it, I didn't really see smoking in restaurants. Most of my time was spent in bars though(like I said, bachelor party). We didn't talk to any cops though, which was probably a good thing. Thank goodness they've apparently never heard of open container laws in NO. I thought it was great to be able to walk into a bar and order a drink to go.

Since you live there you might be able to tell me something. What are the rules about bringing drinks from elsewhere into restaurants or bars? No one seemed to mind, especially since we usually quickly ordered more, but it seems as if it would be frowned upon.
