So new coil, filled all the holes with juice and some in the top, left it in a new tank of juice for a few mins, took some primer puffs on it. Still exactly the same at 12w-15w only it produces next to no vapour but still taste absolutely horrendous.

No I was referring to the coil itself.......I just checked the aspire website and I'm confused now because I don't understand how a higher ohm would be suited for more wattage? I would figure it being about 8-15 max on watts but it's saying much higher like 40-70 I think......hell I don't turn the .5 coils higher than 35

I hope someone who knows more than I do chimes in......I haven't been vaping too long so I'm curious as to why they would recommend higher wattage for a higher ohm coil

But it definately procudes next to no vapor at the 12-15w range, even upto 20, and when I have used it at aspires suggested range of 30-50w the vapor is there but super harsh and taste really bad but the taste is the same through every wattage iv'e tried.

that is a fake coil, there should be a mesh on top.or at least i cant find a pic online of a coil without one. a far as the bad taste i have got this once or twice and it was caused by the cotton being packed to tight

i just seen a post on another site that says the person vapes the 1 ohm at 25 watts, but he says they are high if they think it can handle 30 to 50 watts

thats my guess. the one here http://www.myvaporstore.com/Atomizer-Coil-for-Aspire-Eigate-Atlantis-2-Mega-p/ap-at4lah.htm doesnt look packed with cotton and has the mesh, but its a .3 ohm. cant seem to find a top down of a 1 ohm.

Thats just a bad pic + it's a used coil so abit of juice is on the mesh, but there definately is mesh there, I also just checked the product code on the website and it is real.

This is also the third coil i've tried out of the 5 pack and all are totally unvapable so it's not like I just had 1 defective coil.

I just removed the rubber gasket and re fitted it which seemed to be the other guys problem, didnt work for me. He does seem to of had a similar problem as im having though.

well im tapped out on this one, unless it boils down to a bad batch of coils, i really wish i had been able to help.

I went to the b&m today and got some 0.5ohm coils which are working much better, still have to take about 20 pulls of it tasting abit off and preety harsh, but seems once the tank gets warmed up abit it's working fine.
