Atlantis Coils

Hi all.

Just wondering how long people are getting out of the atlantis coils?

I'm getting a maximum of two-three days out of them, vaping at 30 watts on an RDNA 40 at 60/40 VG, and I always give them at least half an hour to prime. I honestly don't understand how people claim to get 3 weeks + out of them?

I love this tank for the clouds, but the flavour starts to drop off within a day or so, and then starts to taste bad, and vapour starts to decrease. Also, this thing drinks juice like nothing I've ever seen, I just can't see myself buying new coils and e liquid every week, soooo expensive!

Thinking about switching to the nautilus mini, how long do the coils last on average for that tank?

And are the temperature sensing coils any good that they brought out for the RDNA? Do they last longer?

Getting about a month out of my Atlantis coils..vaping it everyday running between 35-40w judging by how it vapes ..great flavor too! Seen here on my IPV3's with the 7ml ext tanks from A-Mod

I will have to admit there choice in wicking material is garbage, you could try and rebuild one with cotton......

In my experience with Atlantis coils, darker juices tend to gunk them up and affect flavor a lot faster the lighter ones. Seems like with all being 60/40 it shouldn't make a difference but for me, it seems to.

I topically vape at 24 - 26 w on a Vapor Flask or Hana and rotate through several different flavors (in different tanks) several times a day. Five days a go I put fresh coils in four different tanks and the darkest e-liquid, a coffee flavor from The Vapor Hut called Java the Hut started to taste a little less flavorful after the third day. The other three lighter e-liquid, (Wookey Cookie, Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, and Enigma, also from TVH) still taste as fresh as day one and probably will for at least another 4 to 5 days.

So anecdotally, I get a good 3 to 4 days out of darker flavors and 10 or so with lighter ones, before I feel the need to replace the coils.

I'd love to know exactly what e-liquid folks re using in their Atlantis tanks to get 3 to 4 weeks out of one coil as I've not been able to make on last more than 2 weeks at tops, without a significant drop in flavor.

I learned the hard way that letting the coil get even slightly dry, will burn it out almost immediately. That may or may not be a factor in the OPs short-lived coils. Just throwing it out there.

I prefer the clearer juices like shown in my pic above..100% VG...5mgs of nic..one is Vanilla Ice Cream and the other Sweet Cream flavors..got a month on both coils shown and still going strong at 35-40w...can't ask for anything more..it's great!

Thanks for the input, good to know. Must be my PG content then.

I know rebuildables last longer, especially if rewicked occasionally, but the convenience the Atlantis provides works better for me as I have limited time to spend with my RBAs.

Still vaping 50/50 6mg Red Bull in mine, going on week 5 and about 2/3 of the way through my 3rd 110ml bottle and flavor is as sharp and clean as the very first tank.

My juice is a locally blended by my B&M shop and is almost water clear which I think has a lot to do with the life of the coil.

I get roughly 3-4 days out of my coils and am using clear high quality juice. I'm using a Hanna clone to power it. I've tried turning the watts up and down and haven't had any success.

Get a better mod!..as stated many times before these coils perform best at 30w+..(35-40w vapes great for me)
Lower VW causes all kinds of issues not vaping all the juice in the wick completely, plugging it up and causing possible flooding and spit back even..and I'm vaping the same coil for over a month now and it's still hitting as awesome as the day I installed it. Personally I don't know want else to suggest to you other than good luck! [emoji39]
