Atlantis coils?

Anyone's else having problems going thru Atlantis coils? Seems like I've changed out my coil at least 4 times since Monday (it's thursday night). I thought I was using too thick of a vg so I tried some 50/50 and it still gets them to gurgle and carry on. And yes I prime all of my new coils and let them soak in at least 10 mins or so.

When I was a simple beginner, I do stupid things like blowing to my atlantis without firing it.
It makes the atty's flooded, and the gurgle was crazy.

Apart of that, my Atlantis always have a popping and slight (only) gurgle, sometimes spitfire.
After I know how to rewick the coil, the popping and gurgle are less frequent happened.

Gotta still love with the Atlantis. It makes me a vaper.

A small amount of spitting and gurgling(especially after sitting) is normal.
It's a sign of effective wicking/soaked wicking material.

When the coil is removed look in the base, there should not be any liquid.
If there is some dry it out.

I've been using the same coil that came with the tank for 3 weeks+ so far, using >90% PG.

Are the coils the new type or the older ones? Only the vendor will know this probably. Cheers.

I've only rebuilt TWO atlantis coils thus far.. that stupid rayon cloth around the coil chamber serves a distinct purpose..
juice blocker !!

Still trying to wick it just right and avoid maintaining those little diapers

going to be an interesting journey.. I've seen the you tube vids where they are coiling her horizontally and not replacing the little cloth diaper

I havent gotten that down just yet...
However your problem .. lol I can change juice leave same coil in and have no problems with stock coils for weeks on end
your like doing something wrong I don't recall how heavy my VG was in the times I've used my atlantis

Shes been resting as I attempt to learn my kayfun v4's little nuances
but its a tank ( the Atlantis) Its not really meant for heavy VG
I must have at least done a 30/70 in her with no problems Distortion by 'not to shabby' thats a heavy one right?

no max VG though I'll try that when the seduce juice order gets in just for you
no im kidding they were gonna go in the kayfun any way .. night as well test them in the atlantis too

I thought they were flooding because of too thick of a juice at first. After that I've been changing them because of the gurgling and popping they were doing. When I change them out, there fine for the first 2-3 refills. After that they start doing it again

FLOODING/GURGLING

To fix a flooded atomizer take your tank off the battery and blow through the mouthpiece (with a paper towel under it or cover the airflow hole). This will drain the extra eliquid.

When you inhale, take a long smooth draw vs a short sharp draw. This will prevent extra eliquid from being pulled into your coils and flooding it. Inhalation technique with an e-cigarette

Whenever you first sense that your atomizer is beginning to flood try this:
1. Open up the airflow so when you take a hit you are not pulling in as much juice into your coils.
2. Raise your voltage or wattage. This will vaporize more eliquid.
3. Tip your battery up (and take a few hits). By tipping it up you will prevent more eliquid from being fed into the coils.

Give one or all of these a try.:)

I'm guessing this is the same problem the Naut Mini has. You need to either blow the excess juice out of the air hole by blowing through the drip tip like I do, or just unscrew the base and rinse it out. Juice builds up in there and it wont hit well. What do you vape at? Also, loosen up the tank from the base as if it is too tight it cant breath and it wont hit.

I kinda did this thing ( blowing through drip tip without firing ) when I just start vaping, and it turned out make my Atlantis airhole full of fresh liquid from the tank. So, it was flooded even worst.

I aggree that unscrew the base and rinsing will give better result.

After rinse and dry, We just need to pay more attention on how to avoid flooded atty.

I have had to let mine soak over night just to wake up to continuing burnt flavor. I also found that certain juices helped out, juices that seemed (thin?) or of not super thick consistency. Today however I ordered a RDA, due to some info I ran across about the worry of Aspire using Ceramic as the wicking material. There isn't much info to the contrary, but the fear is it may be similar to the consequences of inhaling asbestos.

Edit: I would rather be safe than sorry. Mesothelioma isn't something to shrug your shoulders at.
