Atlantis in the post wondering what juice to get

My Atlantis is in the post and at the moment using the Nauty mini with the ipv mini(30w) my fav vape is Apple pie and custard which is 50/50 at 18mg - I understand you shouldnt use 18mg with these coils and heard about 3mg should be enough am also not sure what mix to get never really experimented with mixes and have heard it's better to go with a higher vg mix also I'm hoping the 30 watt will be enough a lot of people like it at 35 - 40 but other people say it doesn't matter after 30 just warmer and cloudier

If 18mg is what you are used to, then if you are vaping at 3 or 4 times the power, even 6mg is going to be strong at 30-40 watts.

What sort of power are you using on your set-up?

Higher VG is good for more clouds, sure, so if you want to buy some juice at 6mg or lower and go mad, then more VG is the way to go.

I sometimes vape at 30-40 watts, but not for long and use any old juice, mostly 80/20 or 60/40.

I vape 6 in my atlantis. and 30 watts is pretty great. I do tend to bump it up occasionally for a ridiculous cloud. Most everyone I know really likes them. It does great with max vg or 50/50 so that part doesn't matter as much with this beast. And yeah I am thinking it would get you woozy chain vaping at 18. Buy the same flavor you have in a zero and mix 2/3 zero and 1/3 18 this will drop you down to 6 without wasting the juice you already have.

Edit- at 30watts I can chain vape 80 vg without dry hits. @ 40 watts I have to wait a minute or two between vapes, this of course won't be a problem for you.

I normally vape with 18mg nic, but on my Atlantis (I vape it at 30w) I dropped it down to 8mg (I DIY) with 70vg....and so far no issues at all. When I first received it, I tried vaping my usual 18mg, and after a few minutes I knew it was too much.

Ipv mini only goes to 30 watt so I'm hoping that will be enough and I use a nautilus mini 1.8 coil at between 11-13 watts think I might get a higher vg juice to try maybe 30/70 So any where between 3-6 mg should be ok for me

Keep in mind that an Atlantis doesn't perform very well with mouth-to-lung draws; direct lung draws is how people end up using it. If you're not used to that style, you might want to throw a 6mg sample in your cart, just in case 8mg is too strong.

ETA: Or 3mg as you posted. Clouds or no, some people, myself included, can't handle direct lung draws with every flavor or set-up.

I cut from 18 to 12 on my nic when I got the Atlantis. Within 24 hours, I ordered some 0 nic to cut it down further. I ended up about 9 nic and expect to order at 6 from now on for the Atlantis. Side note, now I am lowering all my juice down to 12 even though vaping it on other set-ups, an added benefit to the Atlantis.

Just thought I would add my two cents.
I have been using the atlantis for about 8 days now and its a beast. I use to use 14-18mg with like a pro tank / natilas set up but with the atlantis I'm down to 6mg. trust me its enough.

I have the IPV2 which goes to 50 watts but the mini should be just fine. 30 watts is enough. i generally vape between 30-35. But I would have to say yes you will be fine with 30 in my opinion.
Side note, the atlantis is a JUICE HOG. You will go threw it fast

Am I right in saying I could have 6mg if the vg is higher or have I just made that up lol reason being I could nip over to my local shop and they may only have 6mg and I think if I really like the Atlantis which most people do I could always upgrade to ivp 2x my aunty really likes the mini ivp and asked me to get her one so I could always sell it to her or just keep both

i use some 70vg 30pg juice in the atlantis, even 90VG works fine

I've run 50/50 vg/pg 75/25 and 80/20 in my Atlantis and chain vaped each with no problems, I've also used 3mg 6mg and 9mg and found 6mg is about the upper limit for me, I normally vape 12mg in my nautilus tanks,

I just want to know since the Atlantis is capable of low ohms, can you not use it with a vamo v5?

I believe the Vamo can't handle coils lower than 1.2 ohms (but I could be wrong). As for the Atlantis at the Vamo's maximum 15 watts, not sure if it's any good at such lower power.
