Doesn't matter. Even if you primed it right new
coils take a while to start tasting right. Call it a "Break In Period". I've been using rebuilt Atlantis
coils, High Voltage
tank coils, Melo coils. All the same. Usually my new coils taste best after some use and then sitting overnight. Here's another trick I've learned. usually it seems like new coils over wick and spit a lot. After the "Break In Period" I take some cotton off of the tip of a Q tip so it fits down the barrell of the coil, twisitng while turning it in and reversing on the way out. It compresses the cotton and kind of "Forms It" like you would do to a dripper. Improves the air flow and wicking tremeandously. At least that's what I've found.
