I am kind of bummed out that I did not find this thread until now. Here is my opinion and what worked for me. I ordered the ato miser first and tbh I was pretty disappointed. I think that this is due to my vaping style. I could never get the ato mser to taste good. BUT, I am glad that I started with the ato miser because it is slightly bigger and easier to make a coil for. So, by the time I got the a2 I was prepared to make a little smaller coil. I have never ever ever liked the use of carts, but the way the a2 is set up is unlike other cart setups and I LOVE IT!!! Yesterday I vaped over 35 drops before it started to taste off. I have never had that happen with anything, even a cartomizer. I think a lot to do with this is the wick that Cetin sells. It is very similar to what is used in the ce2s / clearomizers. I have actually used coils straight from a clearomizer and connected it to the a2 and it worked fairly well, also I was able to cut some of that wick to save for later. I have been waiting for 2 weeks for my second steel a2 and meters of wick from cetin. It was shipped 2 weeks ago but I think that it is in usps limbo right now. But if I run out of wick, I will just use the wicks from ce2. So needless to say if you order an a2 you really need to order a ton of extra wick because in my opinion, it is the best. I have rambled long enough but if you would like to drip with the a2 it is a pretty simple mod, here is a couple pics of my modification of the mouthpiece to accept 510 drip tips. While this is easy to do, I honestly have had a lot better success using the cart.

Here is an Italian video on how to convert the A2's 701 cartridge into a tank! I tried it, it took me 5 minutes and works like a charm. Two things though, I found I needed 4 strands of wick to fill the hole properly and refilling is slightly less easy than just dripping on the filler.

I did this and it works pretty good. I really need a plug that is slightly larger so it fits more tight but besides that it is working great.

I also got an ato-miser and was honestly disappointed. The wicking was not all that good and the pre-cut 3Ω wire had nicks in it and would just break. Plus it looked terrible sitting on a PV IMO. So I got an A2. I honestly like it a lot, and usually its my all day vape (or an ego-t atty) on a Riva battery, then at home I vape a tank mod of some sort. I had cut down a Riva cone to fit to cover the batt connection and it was working well. The flavors are muted a little, and the vape is cooler then say a 510. The vaper production is very good. This is using PG or PG/VG 80/20. Haven't vaped heavy VG through it. I liked mine so much I ordered a second in all stainless, and to be honest, this is tops. Much nicer then the aluminum one, and worth the extra money.

atavanhalen- what did you use to fit the 510 to the A2?

Also did the plug the end and put some wick through the hole. Yes it works, but I also use 2 strands looped, and take a stainless mesh screen and wrap it so the SS mesh is around those wicks, and in the hole of the plug. It hold the wicks in place.

The steel one is a lot nicer and seeds like it will last forever, my only complaint is the brass connector, I wish it was steel as well. For the 510 drip tip, I connected the plastic mouthpiece to the a2 and slowly worked my way through it with a diamond file, you cut right at the ridge removing the whole top section, and if I remember correctly, the little round piece in the center of the mouthpiece broke out quite easily after removing the for mentioned top part. Then I work the hole with a small file until it was big enough for the dt to fit. It seems like a hassle but it is plastic and is pretty easy to manipulate.

I have ss mesh, would you want to post some pics?

I had the same problem with the coils on the ato miser, I really cant believe they got sent out that way. Literally every single wire was messed up and nearly impossible not to break. And like you said, the a2 has it in the looks department as well. I agree about the type of vape but what about th? I am getting great throat hit but like you said about the flavor be muted is true. It is a fair enough trade off imo though. I think with more experimentation we can get more flavor and maybe even a warmer vape depending on how far we go with the experiments.

On top of it being great, Cetin is a great guy.

One last thing, I got a bulli-smoker mod and it has a very nice fit and finish and is really a cool little device. I got the one that takes 14500 batts, I cant keep the different names straight.

Here are some photos (cell phone sorry). I used some 400SS mesh to create a way to hold the wick into the hole in the mouth piece. Otherwise, every time I placed it into the A2, the wick would slide up into the cart. I wanted to make sure the wick was in contact with the coil or wick in the coil, and this was my solution. I was worried it was just hitting the screw and being pushed into the cart. If its to tight, you don't get good flow... again, I rather just use the polyfill, easier to fill and I have some on hand that works fine.

BTW, when the ato-miser came out and I had problems with the 3Ω coils, the seller said to pm him and he would send out replacements. I did so, he did not even respond. I am now a lost customer.

Heres my setup. Cut two loops from xl ce2. Push both loops into ce2 from mouthpiece side leaving cut ends towards coil side. Push ce2 cap so it sits flush with the end of the cart. Its been wicking great. Gone through 3 carts full so far tonight. No burnt tastes, no leaking and it wicks till the cart is dry.

These both look good I will give them both a try. That idea with the mesh is smart, I am actually trying to figure a way to use the ss mesh for the actual wick inside the coil but need some more guidance.

Check out what Scubadan did with SS mesh in the ato-miser thread... may be able to implement something like that???

Unless they changed, I did not like the ato-miser wicks. The wicks in the A2 are similar to the CE2 wicks (not the new thick ones though). I have been using the stuff from the wick store with good luck and I believe COV will start carrying the thicker CE2 type wicks for the Iatty, which would work probably even better.

How about a direct link. Does it hold up to a torching like the CE2 wick?

Thanks
