Most atomizers will start to drop off in vapor production. In which case cleaning may resurrect them or it might be time to replace. If an atomizer goes completely cold, then it's definitely time to replace. The only way to be completely sure is to measure resistance with a multimeter by touching probe to the inner and outer contacts on the end that screws onto the battery.

i have a weird experience with this.. my first experience ever happened yesterday, i had been been using this LR 510 atty for about 2 weeks almost non stop. (LR is the best i have experienced so far) an d i washed it out, and 4 days later i didnt do any to it and it just stopped working.... so an atty can stop for any reason, or some times it will stop for no reason other than it is the time for it. attys have diff timings but takinig care of it will help it
