Atomiser question...

Hey all

I have a TW Tornado-T Cone Atomiser and the ego-c slim cartridges that you slide in the top of the atomiser. At first, i wasnt too impressed with this, but as I've been using it more, i've found that taking a few really quick draws on it (after about 5 normal draws with battery button pressed) without pressing the button makes it perform far better.

If i use it without the button-less draw technique i just get burnt nasty taste after a few puffs, regardless of the voltage / device i am using, but with the above technique i get better flavour out of it than anything else i use.

I would have thought that if something was burnt out or if the voltage was too high it would taste burnt regardless of anything i do, but that doesnt seem to be the case. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything similar with this product or others like it?

This sort of "priming" is common on a few types of atomizer set-ups.

Truth is, nothing works well without a wet atomizer and puffing without firing is drawing juice in. Personally, I try my best to avoid stuff that requires faff. When these attys work, they are great. Most people complain about this system.

I thought that might be the case - it is a pain in the .... I'll probably sack it off soon, just use it now and then as when it works the taste is great. Once i start trying direct dripping I'm sure that will be better for taste though.

I know this is a separate question but its still regarding atomisers
How long should a 1.8 atomiser last on an evod for a casual vaper?
And how often (if i should at all)clean the atty?

I've never used an evod, but i tend to get about 2 - 3 weeks out of them* on my protank mini & vivi nova. I am swapping juices pretty much every refill at the moment though, so i am cleaning them every time, as much to get rid of the previous flavour as for maintenance. I would say i average about 4ml a day so if you are around half that? then you could expect a month or so? If you are using the same flavours then you wont need to clean them as often, and if you are using liquids that are higher PG then they are 'cleaner' than VG liquids too.

*I could get longer, there is no problem with the atomiser itself, i just think the taste degrades a little over time, so i prefer to keep them fresh.
