Haha, ag née man! Haven't you heard about adjusting the center post?

Please explain how. Pulling the post with long tweezers or tapping the other end does not move anything.
Someone on another forum suggested that I have got some other form of a Vivi Nova because the post should "float."

The post should 'float'. It can take some force. If you're adamant that it's going in the bin anyway, push it hard from the top and see. Also, can you see the pin extended a bit from the bottom?

I tried squeezing it in a vice and used a hammer on the bottom hoping to push the post up, nearer the head.
It did not budge.

Well if it used to make contact and isn't making contact anymore, but it's completely immovable.... raise you battery center post a bit. Ta da!!

Can you show a us a pic of the immovable Vivi's upside down. Where did you buy it from?

My new favorite clearomizer is the eVod . Also rebuildable. I prefer it to the Mini ViviNova.
The EVOD - Includes Recoiling - YouTube

I'm currently using an EVOD, my first, for four days. In some ways this is a record.
The CE5, V8 and Vivi Nova are no goes.
I have just fitted a new re-built coil in the Vivi Nova, hoping to bring it back to life.
Before connecting the battery I checked the resistance - a perfect 2.4 ohms.
I then vaped joyfully for about two minutes then it was suddenly dead.
I stripped and checked it out, saw nothing untoward - resistance now 0 ohms and yet
it worked for a few vapes then dead again.
As I've previously stated, nothing about the Vivi Nova makes sense.

The Vivi Nova IS a rebuildable atomiser.

I talking more of going in the direction of a terminator/Oddy, genesis, dripper, or similar. No replaceable heads like the vivi nova, evod, etc.
You physically make your own coils with wick and install. I know you can rebuild vivi nova heads, but they were not designed for this where the atomizers I mentioned are specifically designed for this purpose. That is why they would be found with a vendor under the RBA section.

i know the Chinese market the vivis as rebuildable, but they have all their terminology wrong half the time.
