Odd question, I mean, I can tell my 510 does, and I assume that is normal.

But, while wanting SOOO bad for my newest redesigned npro to give me good flavor from refilling, to go along with its monster vapor, I noticed something.

The way the cartridge(white piece that holds filler material) part sets down in the orange-ish brown outer cart, it doesn't touch the atomizer.

It's actually a fair amount away. So after refilling, I put the white part, onto the atomizer, then put the brown/orange outer part on. This way the white part is touching the atomizer.

It makes a big difference in flavor. I get good vapor without, but the flavor isn't the best from refills.

This makes the flavor better, and still has tremendous vapor. Now if I can find something to jam down in there, to force the white part to stick up further....

Does this make sense to the seasoned vets on here?

Just an interesting tid bit -

I recently started using some TW atty's in my JS with Kissbox factory carts. It seems to me that the bridge on the TW penstyle atty does not put an indentation in my Kissbox cart at all, but the wicking is phenominal.

I haven't taken any precise measurements yet, but either the atty bridge is just barely touching the filler, or the heat from the atty is causing the liquid to wick out of the cart onto the atty enough to make it vape great.

Oddly enough, I've been using this same cart for 6 days now with no issues, I haven't even had to use a straw mod or change the filler. All the other atomizers I have used seemed to push the cart filler up about 1-1.5mm into the cart, and I always seemed to have wicking issues that way.

In short, I suspect minimal/light contact between the bridge and the filler seems to be key. YMMV.

The inner cart with the fiber does not seat at the bottom of the outer piece. There are raised stops inside the outer piece to keep the inner part in the atomizer when assembled.

Try washing the fiber. Remove it and rinse under warm water. dry the fiber with a paper towel, and put it back inside the inner piece. Fill it with fresh juice and try it.
