Hi folks,

Just bought the njoy Express Kit. I charged it until the charger light turned green, disconnected the white portion (the atomizer) from the charger, removed the protective cap from the brown part (the cartridge), and connected it to the atomizer. After sucking on it a few times, with the light at the end turning red, I got no vapor, no flavor, and it was extremely difficult to puff on - nearly left me winded.

Am I doing this wrong? Is something broken?

I started with the blu kit, and it looks pretty similar in design to the njoy express kit from looking at the site (I havn't tried the njoy's but have heard good things).

You will want to be sure your fingers are not covering the holes where the 2 pieces come together.. may block some airflow that way. Also, may need to prime the puffs a little before starting to draw (couple quick puffs into your mouth first, then slow draw on it).

In my 3 packs of blu carts, before I went to ego style stuff, I did run across maybe 2 dud carts that didnt work at first, but seemed to later.

Hope it starts to work for ya :)

Try this snippet of a guide from the site:

Draw (ie drag or pull) very, very lightly in comparison to a cigarette.
Pull the vapor into the mouth, not the lungs.
Draw for an extended length of time – for at least 3 seconds. This because for a 1-second draw, the atomizer does not heat up fully, and also because there is not as much nicotine in the vapor as in cigarette smoke.
Hold the vapor in the mouth for 2 seconds, then inhale, then exhale very slowly through the nose.
If you have trouble doing a long pull with just the mouth, then draw using the mouth only for one pull, using the lungs for the next.
Use the ecigarette for twice as long as a tobacco cigarette lasts you.

I read and tried that, but I'm getting no vapor whatsoever. Also, drawing on it, even gently and slowly, is making me winded.

hmm, when i had an auto battery the air holes would get plugged from debris from when i put them in my pocket (before i got a nice case)
check to see if there is a clog, or that you arent covering up the air vents with your fingers. as was stated above, prime a puff to heat up the coil, then take a looooong drag. you should be getting something.
