I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, or if anyone would really be interested, but what the heck.
I was at the local PV shop and they seemed quite surprised at how I have been successfully cleaning my atomizers and clearomizers and said it was a neat idea, so I figured I would share.
I have been using an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner machine filled with about an inch and a half of cheap vodka and run the pieces through a cleaning cycle or two until no more gunk comes out. Then just set aside to dry. I have been able to keep some eGo-C atomizers going for well over a month this way and have not had one go out on me yet. I have also been using this technique with the replaceable Kanger T2 atomizers and the Joye atomizers in their clearomizers. After the parts are dry and put back into service, they need to be primed with a little juice so they do not run dry.
I vape about 3 ml a day, my wife about 2 ml, and have been rotating our atomizers every two or three days. I hope this helps some of you out there. We did have the ultrasonic cleaner at home before I started using it for this purpose. The model we have is a Branson 200, but I think any small unit would work. BTW, I do not drink the vodka afterwards
