Lots of folks vape directly from the atomizer for various reasons, but cleaning is not one of the reasons I am familiar with. I assume you have spare atomizers on hand. If so, you can use the one that is not producing much vapor and try the dozens of revival methods in the various threads on the forum. Since no one has found an ideal solution, all you can do is try several.

One idea that sounds very interesting comes from a vaper in Germany who uses the steam valve on an espresso machine to clean atomizers. If I still had my espresso machine, I certainly would try it first.

if you take off the tip and just inhale on the atomizer will that burn off the build-up or will it just burn out your atomizer? my 901 used to get big hits but now i'm getting close to nothing. i tried washing it in hot water blowing on it etc. but nothing seems to work

Kool; I've found that after I clean my atomizers (801 penstyle) they have to completely dry out before they work right.
I mean a min. of 2 days, preferably 3, before they are 100%.
If I don't do this they just flat won't produce.
I've got probably 30 atomizers so I can afford to wait.
I've noticed others who wash them out at night and use them the next day but it doesn't work for me. Probably something I'm doing wrong.
Anyway try this...YMMV
