This is really starting to bug me now. I think there must be something wrong with it. It's still the same problem as when it was saying atomizer low. But now the resistance was 2.2 oHms and it was going well-getting red hot. But now it's gone weak and it reads 1.1 oHms on the same coil. The +- connectors seem to be firmly fixed to the wire. But I wondered if it's another connection underneath or something. The resistance changes from 2.2 to 1.1 then below that when it says low atomizer. It's a lemo drop- I feel like dropping mine from a great height but it's the only one I have at the moment. What the hells wrong with it? Dazzer.

sounds like the coil is shorting out - if the coil touches the deck or the body of the chamber it may short out.
Loose connections and coil gunk usually raise your resistance, not lower it. Either that, or it was a bad connection to begin with and some how it corrected itself (seems unlikely).
Some pictures would be great :) (coil porn is always appreciated, plus it helps us see whats going on, could be helpful).

istick 20w. It was firing well and glowing red hot like it should so I filled it upand it said 2.2 on the istick. Then after a few times the power went down -like less smoke and it reads 1.1 now and there's not much smoke. It doesn't touch the deck-nowhere near. But it seems to be when I prize it up more it works better. When I built it, it kept saying atomizer low, it wasn't touching the deck but I prized it up a few times then it was o.k. and read 2.2- weird. Then sometimesv I try to use it and it suddenly says atomizer low again and I can'yt use it. I will try to do some porn, but my camera doesn\t do macro so I'm not sure if I can get close up erotic coil pictures -but I'll try. Dazzer.

A dropped 510 pin is common with the iStick 20w. Gently raise the 510 pin in the iStick with a paper clip or small screwdriver. Get a #60 washer, which is found in the plumbing dept, around the top of the 510 pin or over it. You can cut the #60 washer to help get it over the 510 pin. This should help keep the 510 in place by preventing the 510 on the tank from from pushing it down. Tanks only need to be tight enough for the ohms to be read by the iStick and not flop around. Do not over tighten. I leave the thickness of 2 business cards between the bottom of the tank and the top of the iStick. Using the included ego/510 adapter will prevent this from happening.

Occasionally, the problem is the coil housing. Try a different coil head to see if it makes a difference. Do not over tighten it or leave it loose. Tighten to "girl finger snug" which means as tight as a female would snug it with her thumb and first finger.

Also, be gentle with the iStick 20w threads. They are soft and easily damaged. At any time there is the slightest resistance, stop and start over.

These problems have been corrected with the iStick 30w and 50w.

Well, try one thing at a time :)

Some thoughts:

1. Be sure your coil is situated correctly and post screws are tight.
2. Check the screw underneath where the afc ring is tight as it holds the positive block.
3. Make sure the positive block is straight and not touching the negative block at all.
4. Bring out your 510 pin or use the washer to get a good connection with the mod.

It has to be one of those.
