1. If flooded - you take it off the battery and glow it out into a tissue. Also use a dry bit of tissue to make sure the battery's threaded end is dry
2. Buy more atomizers now. You should have spares. You should always have 3 or more atomizers if you use atomizers to do most of your
vaping - 2 to alternate (vape one while cleaning one) and one total spare.
Maybe you just have a defective atomizer. Maybe the wick is poorly placed or the atomizer is just a sloppily made clone. I recommend you buy some real Joye brand atomizers to start (see Liberty-Flights.com and press the 20% off first, or LiteCigUSA.net). And if you just received that atomizer and it is defective, see if the vendor will replace it.
3. To do an actual cleaning (which I did weekly when I was using atomizers to vape all the time, instead of just to test juices) -
(first I would switch to using a clean atomizer after priming it well with liquid and letting the liquid soak down to the coil)
I do this first with boiling water in a bowl deeper than the height of the atomizer, then in a jar of edible pure grain alcohol (everclear - I had to buy it in another state. You could use rubbing alcohol but it is poison so make really sure it has dried completely before using the atomizer)
With each liquid I do this:
- blow out the atomizer (shake out instead if it has alcohol on it)
- using a plastic tongs, scoop liquid through the atomizer
- submerge and tilt the atomizer to let all air bubbles out
- soak (20 minutes for the water, I do overnight for the alcohol but you could do much less)
- shake out well
Do first with the boiled water then wit the alcohol
Then I set the atomizer in a container on paper towels to dry, and I use it the next time I need a clean atomizer (by then it is totally dry)
When you use a totally clean dry atomizer you have to prime it well with eliquid. 4-5 drops and let it soak in to get the coil wet before trying to vape. if it's too much you can blow some out.
4. Buy some Boge 510 cartomizers. Most people use cartomizers for heir favorite juices. Every cartomizer has its own internal atomizer. Even if all of your attys are broken, if you have cartomizers you will have a way to vape (the way most prefer to vape). You can use standard reisstance, or the hotter LR 2.0 ones on fat battery models like Ego (the LR ones use yoru charge faster). I recommend learning on the standard - they give you a it more leeway as you learn to sense when they need more liquid.
