I wouldn't know because all I have now is the standard atomizer that comes with the ego-t. I ordered some cartomizers that are arriving on Friday and I'm excited to try them out. Sounds like the amount of nicotine delivered is considerably greater, which I am all for as I was smoking strong cigs and I like the buzz (which I have rarely experienced with the standard atomizer).

I will update once I receive them.

Boy thats a hard one to answer. I think the atty and carts are probably cheaper to run because the carts never wear out, just the filler material that you can clean or restuff with blue foam or other filler material, so all you need to buy is a atty when it quits working, but you need to fill them VERY often. The regular cartomizers last longer between refills so is more convenient and not all that expensive. Throat hit, I don't know if any difference. Vapor Production is similar, flavor is similar. This is just my opinion.

I only use atomizers for testing new juices and for vaping a couple of juices that are thicker than work well in cartomizers. My fave thin clear juices go in cartos and 99 percent of the time I am vaping cartos. I don't care if they cost extra a bit extra per week. They keep my favorite flavors totally separate. I hardly ever have to clean atomizers any more (and I had to clean one every weekend when I used atomizers). The standard cartos hold 2x as much juice as an atomizer cart and need juice added less often. Overall the carto provides a more even consistent vaping experience as long as I keep it damp. I can get about a week of good use out of a cartomizer (2 weeks since I alternate two) and I have gotten longer than that. I had one Boge that worked OK for 6 weeks being used 1/2 the time.

Note though - if you have auto batteries, if a carto leaks a bit it will leak right over where an auto battery can be damaged or killed. I only use manual batteries.

I am fairly new to this but my husband and I are having mixed results. He likes the cartomizer better because it does have to be refilled less often and since I am currently doing all of the refilling for both of us right now, it makes my life easier too. I, on the otherhand prefer the atomizer. So far, it does not bother me to have to refill it more often and I feel like I get a cleaner taster and better vapor from my atomizer. I honestly think it is a matter of personal preference and whether you are bothered by the minor hassle involved with having to refill an atomizer more often.

Overall I believe atomizers are less expensive. You don't waste as much juice and they can go for months.

I recommend but don't use many cartomizers. The filler material causes a tickle in my throat that gives me a dry cough and I can taste the filler (or think I can). They work great for most people. Wish I was one of them because it's easier than dripping. I'm on a LR 306 atomizer kick right now. Warm vape, pure feeling of vaping with amazing flavor and easy maintenance, rinse with hot water, blow out the excess water, dry the connector and vape. These attys must stay wet, that's essential. I got a 5 pack of LR 306 atomizers + 5 delrin drip tips for 29.99 at ecigexpress. I typically use Cisco or Ikenvape 306s but couldn't pass up the deal for the 5 + 5 and frankly I can't tell the diff between these and cisco or IKV.

The new hybrid 510/306 attys are getting a lot of buzz. I'm excited to read reviews on them.

Cartos make a 2-piece PV and are disposable, obviously more convenient. I refill some KR808 cartos with variable results, some burn, some leak. Maybe it's me. I would use cartos if they cost less. Instead, I'm using 510 attys that last me months to save dough. For the price of 5 cartos, you can get 2 attys on sale. Cartos last 5-10 refills, though I heard some better/expensive ones can last 100 (ask someone else). I go through 20 carts of juice a day, heavy :vapor:. If 2 carts hold 1 carto of juice, that's 10 refills a day, about 2 standard carto @ $1.60 each. Others get a week on a carto. Disposable anything usually costs more (I'm old school). The flip side is attys take more time and work.

I've tried blue foam as cart filler, turns cart into mini-tank, holds more juice. Also tried dripping, tops for taste, but didn't like carrying juice bottle around. :)

p.s. Boodle is right, cartos waste juice too.

Just got my clearomizer carts... they're pretty ... sweet, mine are working way better for consistent smoke than my atty was and I am not having to deal with any of the leaking I was dealing with when my tanks were low with the atty.

IMO I'm getting better flavor from the cart.

Glad you like the carto.

My attys continue to collect dust.
