I have done a bit of researching, just making sure I exhaust all resources. I have read a lot of threads, but basically, I am looking for a cheap atomizer that is decent and will last awhile, for the occasional dripping, and testing new flavors. I just bought a ProVari V2 a couple weeks ago, and I for the most part swap between a tank and carts. This is coming up from a Volcano Inferno. Though I have been messing around with the carts to see if I could make one an atomizer, not too sure how feesable that is, not to mention I am not 100% sure about what I am doing. If someone knows more about that I am all ears. But outside of that, any suggestions on cheap atty's? Preferably around 2.5-3 ohms.

Thanks for any feedback.

I mostly use tanks and cartos too, but I also love to drip, particularly to taste new juices before committing to a carto...also, dripping is a nice ritual while sitting at the computer or outside on a nice evening. There's something calming about being forced to take a little extra time to notice when the flavor is fading just a little bit (time to drip)...1, 2, 3 drops..wait just a little and vape away. Even though a nicely soaked carto in a tank tastes pretty damn good, there really isn't anything quite as flavorful as dripping..

That said, don't go for the cheapest atty..here's a setup I really like. Others will talk about 306's and 901's etc, and they all have their pluses and minuses, but you gots to start somewhere, right??

Go to Avid Vaper and get this: SR510 Standard Resistance Atomizer 2.5 ohm (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper

this:510 to 510 adapter | extender

and one of these: Drip Shield 901 | 510 | 306 - Avid Vaper

the 510 to 510 connector is so you can use the drip shield with the 510 atty...it makes it taller..be sure and choose the sealed connection on this adaptor.

I really like this setup with this as well: Drip Tips | Universal |306 | 510 | Cherry Vape

the Cherry Vape Universal will work with this 510 atty, fitting inside the opening, and also will fit a 306 atty, slipping OVER it, if and when you want to try a 306. I really like this tip for a couple of reasons. It has a nice wide opening so your liquid has an improved chance of falling directly on the atty, plus it's pretty long, which cools off the vapor, which I happen to like...some folks might like it hotter, but not me. You can then go on and add another drip tip on top of the Cherry if you want to make it even longer, or just skip the Cherry Vape tip altogether and put one of your drip tips directly on the atomizer...in either case, you will probably just toss the crappy tip that comes on the atty..they pretty much suck

anyway, that's a good opening salvo for a first attempt at dripping. Be patient, there is a slight learning curve, but really it's not too tough i you are paying attention..there are other little tricks you will learn both by experimentation and by reading these forums...anything you have thought about or will think about has probably been covered here somewhere, sometime..Happy Dripping!

Besides the ones mentioned below from Avid vapor there is also the I06 Atty from Ikenvape, currently not open but should be soon, these are also excellent Attys,,,,,, about $8-9 that last a good 3 months or so,,,,,,,, and for a more expensive one the HH-357 @ Avidvapor too,, this one you MUST keep very wet but will get great flavor and it will last if kept wet

+1 on the Ikenvape...anything from Ikenvape is of high quality...his cartos seem to really last a long time as well, the gold V2 low resistance in particular..

Looks like IKenVape is not open for sales currently?

Would you recommend 1.5 or 1.8 Cisco Spec for a KGO?

they'll both work great...the 1.5 will be a little hotter and shorten battery life, but not by a ton...I find anything 2.0 or lower performs wonderfully on a true 3.7 rechargable device like a kGo or Riva. Myself I would get the 1.8

My first HH357 arrived just a bit ago. In the process of breaking it in on my Darwin before I transfer it to my UFS. I expect to get some exceptional life out of this atty at 22.00 a pop......ya gotta take care of them though and if so I think I'll be rewarded many times over the cost.
