Atomizer reading go wild

My buddy has an aspire nautilus mega on an mvp 2 and for some reason it's burning through atomizer like crazy they are supposed to be 1.8 ohm atomizer and his mvp is saying it's reading anywhere from 1.8 all the way to up to 2.2 no idea what's going on any ideas

sounds like a connection issue. tell him to clean the connection the pin on the bottom of the tank and the 510 connection. make sure the threads don't have any blackish stuff on them. use pepsi or coke lightly with a Q tip. then lightly clean it with another Q tip and a little bit of vodka. then let air dry for a minute should be good to go.



edit: i ran into this same problem, infact i burned a coil out so bad it burned my tank of juice. all had to do with the connection. build up was causing it to spike the power going into the coil.

It's common for the ohm reading to increase from 1.8 to 2.2 or so with use over time. If it's going back and forth though, there's a connection issue as mentioned above.
