Atomizer smelling and tasting like crap, burning up maybe?

I just got my chuck guys! I put in my batteries and lit it up and it smells and tastes like crap. Its not the flavoring, although maybe the stuffing is burning up a bit but when I lite my atty up without any cart on, it smells and smokes all by itself! Is that normal?

If its a new atty blow out the primer and then re-prime with liguid

I'd avoid any recommendations about cleaning with various fluids like water, Coca Cola or mouthwash. Just the paper towel, then fresh e-liquid should do it. Alignment is important with a 510 atty too.

If it is new it will taste like crap, If it is not then you may want to clean it. I notice that after using for a while mine taste the same way. When I blow it out the liquid looks burnt very dark. There are quite a lot methods for cleaning I just blow it out several times and soak it in hot water blow it out and use a paper towel stick it in the end to help soak the water then let it dry overnight. When you prime it just drip a couple drops of liquid in the wick end it so it doesn't burn dry.

I have a whole bunch of liquid so I understand priming. Now, there has to be a faster way to clean an atomizer so that I don't have to wait overnight to use it right?

I just blow 'em out into a paper towel. Give it a couple drops of VG and vape it off. Usually good after that.

agreed. Blow it out into a paper towel, drop it with VG, vape that off, maybe another couple drops of just VG, then you're ready to go!

which direction do you blow? into the small hole or big one? Also, I just cleaned my atty in rubbing alcohol, then under water, then dried it for 45min constantly blowing into the small hole and putting paper towels into the large hole and drying off the bridge, it still tastes like crap. This is really frustrating and putting me off e cigs really fast. I'm about to give up and ebay all the crap i just bought.

Before you go selling everything, definitely try a 3.7V battery, 6V vaping isn't for everybody. Also you might try menthol e-liquid too, I wasn't a menthol analog smoker, but surprisingly I really like it in an e-cig, go figure.

I just got MY chuck like 30 minutes ago!!! Vaping at 3.7 right now and it tastes/works GREAT. How did I live without this thing?

I had a atomizer soaking in rubbing alcohol for an hour or so and im letting it dry overnight and I'm gonna try it again tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Best of luck, be patient and don't be so quick with the rubbing alcohol,it won't solve your problem.
