I have a 6v chuck and I love it. A few problems I have is that I cant directly inhale the vapor, I tend to suck it into my mouth and then inhale quickly to suck it into my lungs, it works but its a little fustrating, any tips?

The big problem though is after about 10-15 hits it tastes harsh, not like bad juice hits, but like its trying to burn the stuffing in the cart hits, although the cart is still moist and to counter this I'll usually drop 2 drips of nic juice onto the atomizer bridge and then drip EXACTLY 2 drips into the stuffing again because if I drop even a half a drop more into the stuffing it will overfill. So I know the cart is still full but it tastes like its still trying to burn up 10-15 hits after I fill it up again. What am I doing wrong? Thanks guys!

What model atty are you using? Have you tried more than 1 atty/cart? Is the filler touching the bridge of the atty? What filler material are you using? poly fill, PTB, blue?
Its a genuine Joye 510 atty. I've tried multiple attys and carts and they are all the same. The filler is touching the bridge I think because the Filler looks pressed in a little bit when I remove the cart. The filler I'm using is the stock filler I got with the cartridge from nhaler. The filler cant be pressed any deeper into the cart though, plus I thought it was supposed to touch they bridge? If it wasn't then why would the make the filler piece so elongated?

You're using 6 volts only right? Well, I would just guess that its time to top off after 10-15 hits.
Wow, really? They are really short hits though, 3 second draw into my mouth is all before I inhale. So thats only less than 1 min of total draw before I have to do cart maintenance? That cant be right... even if I'm only using 6v, which I am. lol

Yep, but at that voltage you should be eating through a lot of juice, draining a lot of carts. Mine is the same with 3.7 volts so I can only imagine. Even with my blue foam filler, it can suck at least the top part dry in like 15-20 hits. If I let it lay on the table for like 20 min, it'll give good hits again, but if I dont want to wait I just top off a little.

Holy ****! I cant believe that, I thought I was doing something wrong. I guess I better always bring extra juice with me no matter where I go. lol

Anyone got any tips on how to inhale the vapor? Still cant quite figure that one out. I can inhale vapor for maybe a second n a half but then it gets really warm and/or harsh tasting, even though its NOT harsh (I usually try this after I fill up my cart so I know its not harsh because the next hit I take into my mouth and THEN inhale is very delicious and NOT harsh.)

Hell yeah! You can't leave w/out a bottle! Thats crazy talk. Hehehhee. And dude, you gotta at least try 3.7 volts :D

I have this same basic problem ... I'm now using the blue foam instead of the original filler and it's helped ... but the harsh hits start at about 20-25 hits now instead of 10-15. Question though ... How does one know what amount of volts? I have a Joye510 from Cignot.com ... No mods except for the blue foam.

Thanks in advance!

Ps. Is there a way to set these forums to let us know when someone has replied to a post/reply we made? I have a hard time keeping up w/ all the threads and remembering which ones I have posted on.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a standard ecig battery 3.7 volts? The only difference is that the commercial battery mods with bigger batteries just last longer. A Titan kit battery is 3.7 volts 180 mah where as say a Protege is also 3.7 volt but 900 mah. The 3.7 900 mah will last much longer and give you a much more consistent hit. Then you get into the High volt mods which run 5 to 6 volts.

Your joye is standard voltage, right around 3v. The only products that can support a high voltage battery is the vp's like the chuck and silver bullet. The 2 batteries alone that are needed to run 6v are 2 or 3 times the width of your whole ecig and the same length as it also. Might I add JUST THE BATTERIES, put on the atty and cart and electronics and adapters, and you have an mod vp thats about 3-4 times the width as your joye and about twice the length and heavy enough to knock someone out with it if you wanted. ;) lol

On the 3.7v batts. There is a difference between the regular batts on the 510, the megas and the 14500 (and 16430's). On the mod batts and maybe to an extent on the megas, you're at @4.2V for a time, much longer on the 14500 and I don't know if the regular batts even make it there. Someone suggested there might be a limiter on the regular batts because what you get from a fresh regular batt is nothing like the experience of the 14500 and that difference seems to hold for hours on the mod batts. The 3.7 is an average. And each batt has a performance curve. batteryuniversity is a good resource:
