What are you guys using? What's your preferences? This is my first big boy mod, lol. Used 510/Ego/Ego-T before. I'm considering cartos also because they're so cheap and I won't care if one fails soon.

Right now, I'm using ikenvape 1.8 lr atomizers and the first one has only lasted a week before it's started to dwindle in power. (It's possible, I'm flooding and damaging it causing the short life span.) They seem to be pretty awesome when they are working the way they're supposed to. I just switched it out and will keep an eye to see how long the new one lasts.

If I switch to a 2.0 ohm one, will it last longer? Will I see a big change in vapor production or warmth? As much as I like warmth, I really need to consider a grand soon but that's another post for another day.

And if you get a grand some day the same deal applies to the 3ohm cartos which I run at 6v if you want to fry your brain :) (hot vapor monsters!)

Many like 5v with 3ohm too.

But as to your question I have been using IKVs same as you. Only been a week but they are holding up well. Are you using a thick dark juice?

I use the Boge LR2.0 cartos from Crystal Clear Vaping. Free shipping, free drip tip, free refill kit and with discount code (ecf5off) you get 15 cartos for $19. I have been very happy with them and Andrew at CCV is good to deal with.

I have been a confirmed atty, lr through very hv, evenly divided between 510, 306 and variation of, and 801, user for a year and an occasional various carto or tank mod. We just recently picked up some CCV 1.5 Boge and 1.7 Reaurecctors and, wow, do they let the flavor through for DH's tobacco and my sweet butterscotch flavors. At 3.7 on all REOs the temp is great.

Using a REO and a carto is the be all, end all in non-messy, hassle free vaping. And no atty clean either. DH loves that he can use a Boge for 2-3 days and then just toss it.

Yep, I said it yesterday as well. I become more of a carto person every single day.

It started with one REO and a carto for going out ..... Today its 6 REOs all with cartos on them.

Just can't beat the hassle free tasty vape that you can toss in the trash whenever you want :)

Attys are good too, but they need constant work to maintain a quality vape IMO.
(By constant I mean daily or twice daily cleaning for me)

I'm getting older and becoming a member of the "set it and forget it" generation.

I can see it now, the RONCO E-Cig :)

hi johnny, I use LR306 and 510 atties on my mini -- A standard carto is good, but too cool for my taste... I enjoy a warm vape and use 1.5 ohm atties -- but I have heard that 1.5 may be too hot for delicate flavors -

Good luck finding your sweet vape spot ;)

I have worked it all out as to what I like, for now! My Woodvils get the 1.8 LR306 atty, the Grands get a LR510 1.8 atty, and the Mini's get a 1.7 Resurrector cartomizer. For me each gives a great vape on that atty or cartos. The Minis do well with any of them, but I find the Resurrector is just perfect. My Woodvils are a powerhouse driving that LR306. The Grands, my work vape, give me what I need and the LR 510's last weeks for me. Sure there are new improved attys out there, and I will try some. But for now this set-up is working good. I do have a LR 801 running on a Wood. It is a league of its own!
