I tried posting this in the ATV forum but apparently Im not worthy yet

I am about to build a 5V mod and Im wondering what atomizer resistance I should pair with it? My current setup is 3.7V with 1.5 LR 306 which by my calculation gives me approximately 9.2 Watts. I like the vapor production and TH but a little more would be even better.
I was thinking that 10 Watts might be a good target (just guessing). That would mean Id be looking for a 2.5 ohm atomizer if my maths right.
I guess my main question is how much wattage is too much? I realize its a relative thing and the lifespan of the atomizer will decline as the wattage goes up but what would be a good sweet spot where I can get a great hit and not go through atomizers like water?
Of course, if Id just get off my .... (or $$) and get a VV, this would not be a dilemma.
Many thanks to all responders
