Atomizer won't connect

One time I took off my chimbus atomizer and I tried putting it back on but it wouldn't twist on as if the atomizer connection was too small for the battery. Then I found a solution by taking off the bottom half of my KTS x6 mod, then screwing on the atomizer, then reattach the bottom half and for some reason that seemed to make it fit back to normal.

Well yesterday the atomizer came off and went back to being unable to attach.
I tried the same method I've been using but there's no luck.

I don't know if it's stripped either because my other atomizer connects fine and the chimbus connects fine with my friends mod but as soon as I try putting it on to mine, it won't connect. Anyone know of a solution to reconnect the atomizer?

Do you mean the chimbus would not start to thread back on or it wouldn't go all the way? Also, if the atomizer connection was smaller than the battery, one of them would have stripped threads.

Did it fall of or did you unscrew it?

Does 'it won't connect' mean it doesn't screw on, or it does screw on but doesn't fire?
