Atomizer's heat connects with the positive pole

Hi. My concern is that in bottom firing mods, the positive pole of the battery is always connected to the positive pin of the mod, which in turn is connected to the atomizer. When the atomizer heats up, the heat travels to the pin of the mod then to the battery. I remove the top cap of my mod and check the positive pin and is indeed heated. Is it not a concern because as far as i know, the battery will directly receive most of the heat. That's why now, im using a slider mod instead of bottom firing mods, because in the former, the spring is located above the positive of the battery. That makes the positive pole of the battery not in constant contact with the positive pin of the mod. Any view on this?

This is why a good mod will have plenty of vent holes to release heat (and gases in the case of battery failure). And if you chain vape it gets hotter and hotter. Also why we only use quality IMR batteries in mech mods. You can't vape without heat and it's going to go somewhere and there is no tank, RBA, etc that won't convect / radiate heat down to the mod itself in some fashion.

you have a viable point, heat transfer thru the +pin assembly will eventually heat the button top of the battery but to what temperature and to what degree of potential damage is debatable. Batteries can achieve temps of 135F and still be within "normal" operating temperatures. ( think desert military applications)... having the + pin disconnect from the heat source of the atty is a desireable thing I suppose

Ahh, so your saying that up to a certain extent, its normal and ok for the positive pin to transfer heat to the positive pole of the battery. Because im thinking that it only happens to clone mods. Thanks
