I bought an atomo clone from fastech. It came with a magnetic firing pin. well when i have my battery in the battery is loose. So i unscrew the screw at the top a little untill its fairly snug. well it starts firing on its on. i investigated a little and found that my firing pin extends just a little farther out than the bottom cap edges. so I need to either sand down the firing pin a little, or figure out a way to get it to screw farther down.... any suggestions/?

Don't own an Atomo but by looking at the pics on FT, you may want to see if the black notched delrin is threaded into the bottom button, if so try threading it out a bit until it is above the bottom contact.

I experienced the same problem, fortunately for me mine was already all the way unscrewed so i knew it had to screw back in but did not realize the distance from the firing pin making it auto fire. Another problem is the black delrin piece screws back in if you keep screwing the top cap in trying to make the battery snug, so adjusting the throw is difficult unless there is a way to stop that piece from spinning. Anybody know?

I would think that putting an o-ring or something similar beneath the black delrin piece would prevent it from spinning. I do not own the atomo clone but I have one comming in the next couple of weeks. I'll be able to actually test it for myself.
