Can anyone confirm for me that the Atomo clone only uses flat top batteries ? I have 70-80 bucks to spend on a new mech and like that the Atomo has the magnetic button but need to know if I would need to pick up new batteries since I only have button top AW IMR.

Any other fairly cheap clones with magnetic buttons that I should look into as well ? I dont want anything with a spring switch .

Ok just realized there is a V2 magneto with adjustable pin .So seems that would be good for me .

I really would like a single tube 18490 device though but will settle on telescopic if need be unless anyone can recommend a single tube magnetic switch mod that will take 18490 button tops for around same cost as Magneto.

The hcigar nemesis is pretty much a do everything mod. + kick. Adjustable air. Adjustable 510. Adjustable switch. Trim ring for evening out inconsistencies. Think it will allow you to run a fuse if you wanted.

You can upgrade too magnets.

Low voltage drop.

Seriously consider what else has the same list of features. Not much.

Fwiw initially the other mod I was looking at was the magneto v2. But I ended up getting an origin clone as my second. (To run the aqua in hybrid mode). It's also nice but the switch is kinda annoying. I mean it's great. Better than the nemesis in throw and feel. But the spinny adjustment bit is loose. (At least the clone). Also kickable. But I mainly got it because the aqua is so damn good it deserved it's own mod.

It's seriously that good.
