Go ahead, let onlookers gape at e-cigarette users: It turns out that "vaping," or using e-cigs, still will be allowed everywhere in the city. A proposal to regulate the use of e-cigarettes in public parts of the city dissipated Tuesday night amid concerns there was too little medical information about them
The City Council voted 3-2 to snuff out an ordinance that would have limited e-cig use in public places, just as tobacco is prohibited in certain public places. All but one of a handful of speakers urged the City Council to reject the proposal.
