Really, the "Cheapest" way is to just buy another, EGO I am assuming. With building you have to have the parts. A broken this, a broken that, a few parts from here and there, some kind of battery, etc. Then you figure out what and how you want to put it all together.

Fair warning, Modding will take you down the dark path and cost you lots of money and time.

I currently have a jm22, I am looking to makw another 18650 tube for it. I cannot find them for sale anywhere. I'm sorry I did not make that clearer!

Sorry can't help you there, but it sounds like you are wanting to do something you don't have the equipment to do. The JM22 is rather pricy, might just look at a different MOD until you get the proper equipment to recreate the tube or someone gets a replacement tube in stock. You could always use the parts from it to attach to a box mod or something, but that would be one expensive box mod. Good Luck.

Do you happen to know what the average machine shop would charge to bore out a 3/4" thick wall 316ss tube to 19mm and add my threading? I may be able to swing that.

More than a new name brand mech would cost. Seriously, I've worked in machine shops and contracted them for parts in fabrication. The low end for tooling setup is $65, most cuts are priced at about $0.09 per 0.001" deep per inch and were not even talking surcharges for working some soft gummy stailess like 3-1-6. Look at a plumbing supply. I know some of the smaller water inlet pipes for urinals valves are nice brass that will house an 18650 then you've just got to figure how to mod your connectors. Yeah man, if you can't afford a die you sure as heck can't afford to contract a machinist unless you happen to have a buddy with a lathe. If I were out at Center Hill Lake right now I'd meet you in Murfreesboro at some old cranky bikers shop and cut you a tube. I'd send you over there but chances are he'd greet you with a rifle and tell you to go away.
