I have to disagree with the comments on Blu. I have been helped at length in my quest for the right eCig by several people and even the Blu president himself at certain points. He's done everything in his power to make good and ensure I'm happy.
So I'll be completely honest. The shipping situation has seriously ...... me off lately. Because of this, I recently bought an M401 with some 402 batteries. I was super excited about the M401 coming and couldn't wait. It got here today and the Blu kicks it's @$$ hands down.
The Blue clearly has a better draw. I've been using the Blu for about 1.5 months now and can honestly say it is the best I've used. I've gone as far as cleaning atomizers (even though they told me not to) and have been topping off carts successfully with no issue.
Well...maybe a LITTLE issue. I have a bottle of the Totally Wicked
eliquid that seems too thick or something for the Blu atomizer for some reason. It clogs up really easy and doesn't draw as well until you do a super cleaning on it. I'll vouch for the Coke bath idea others have posted about. I was skeptical until I tried it this weekend. I essentially made it new again.
My method...
* Soak atty for 8-10 hours in coke in a small cup or bowl
* Take it out. Rinse lightly with tap water (probably shouldn't but I did)
* Rinse a little more with Isoprophil alcohol
* Blow it out with some compressed air available at any computer store or Best Buy
* Prime with 2-3 drops of my liquid
The thing was basically good as new. One thing I notice is that the Johnson's Creek juices (tested with T.Cured and Menthol) are FAR better for this device. I don't think this atty will perform at it's peak between cleanings on the Totally Wicked juice.
Couple other notes with Blu. The carts they sell actually do work best with this device. I only got my first shipment of JC juice today, so I'm still testing it out, but no issues so far with it and clean, easy draw compared to the TW liquid. For some reason, this atty is calibrated to work best with theirs.
Other things. Your atty, for whatever stupid reason, will drain your battery if you don't have a contact with liquid. When you put your cartridge onto the atty (assuming a new cart), make sure you push, twist (to break the foil seal), then what I do is if I'm only getting a few draws is push the tub of liquid out with a paperclip from the bottom and ensure there's no foil blocking the atty from touching the material that houses the liquid. If you don't have wet, it'll run dry and essentially do self-cleans I think draining my battery (just a theory).
I use my Blu a *LOT* all day, in car, etc. I go through 2 batteries per day MAYBE with heavy use. Try the above and you may have a much better experience. It saddens me that the best item I've found I cannot get easily. 3-4 weeks for shipping sucks big time. My gut tells me it's the FDA interfering at the borders.
FYI - no affiliation with Blu other than I'm an affiliate that posts a few banners on some of my sites, but I won't bother posting an affiliate link here, so don't worry...this review and commentary is 100% legit.
