Because you are a patient person, apparently. When I remove the LED cap...it goes flying across the room from me popping it off like a mad woman.

I'm sitting here laughing and thinking to myself, "Where but on SI's forum could a thread about removing ash caps turn into a lively discussion?"

Two pieces. I super glued it back together and onto the battery I wanted it on. It is never coming off. lol

Stacey, did it crack or just come apart in two pieces. I had that happen, the "diamond" came loose from the part that goes into the battery. I glued it back together with super glue.

Acetone dissolves instant glue. The one you have to remove nail polish for your nails.
put some around the cap and wait.
You can do this if you place the diamond wrong in place or if you have glued your cap on the battery lol.
