Hello all pre-vet party participants,
The pre-vet crew thanks you for your involvement in the avatar party/welcome thread/pre-vet-thread. (See sticky above) We would like to take a momemnt to inform you of a change to the list and the timing of your "turning".
We have always celebrated the turning on the anniversary date of your joining ECF. This is when the forum software "turns" you to ECF Veteran status automatically... or so we thought. It turns out that the forum counts in days, not years, and that 365 days is the magic number. Since this is a leap year, all pre-vets that turn after 02-29-2012 will turn the day before their full-year anniversary. For example... if your join date is 3-2-2011 you will turn to ECF Veteran status on 3-1-2012.
We are in the process of adjusting the list. The previously published list is incorrect in this reguard (we didn't know!!! Sorry!!!). Please pop by the pre-vet thread if you have any questions. If you were planning on an Avatar Party... PLAN ON SHOWING UP THE DAY BEFORE. You can tell if we've adjusted the list relative to your turning time by looking at your ECF profile and checking the join date. The list should be 1 day prior to that in the following year.
This will continue until the end of February 2013 (assuming the Mayans were incorrect)
Please accept our apology for the confusion... we haven't been through a leap year yet (we're new too!).
