I have the ego/pen like ecig. with a tank, and the biggest battery. I buy the LR atty's and they are only lasting me a week !? That is crazy....I've never tried another brand. Is there a better brand I should be using ? How can I make the atty's last longer ? I don't have any leaking or any other problems, except for having to buy a new atty every week. Any suggestions are appreciated :)

Many have complained of lack of flavor with tanks. New atomizers may have primer that smells like machine oil. vape that off without inhaling. Tank atomizers sometimes need their wick adjusted to get the best flow/flavor. Check Youtube for Ego-T Wick - you should be able to find something. I don't use them. I use simple stuffing-type cartomizers - no primer, every cartomizer is like a fresh clean atomizer. Boge are most popular. You don't have to use tank atty + tanks on Ego-T. You can use cartomizers and you can also use a plain 510 atomizer and drip tip for testing juices and vaping occasional juices.

Also in general I feel standard resistance attys deliver more flavor, LR delivers more hit (if you have nicotine). Also every juice has some heat at which it delivers its flavor best. You may find some other juice delivers its flavor better on LR.

How are your atties failing? Completely dead or just a lack of performance? If they seem to be completely dead, you might want to check the resistance with a multimeter by touching the center post and outside threads. Sometimes a center post will get pushed up enough to fail to make contact and the result will seem like a dead atty. If the flavor is decreasing, then you may want to experiment with adjusting the wick like dormouse says.

In either case, a week is very short for any atomizer unless you are really abusing it by getting it too hot, too dry, too wet, etc. I have never stayed with tanks for very long, but regular 510 LR atties typically last me over a month. Cartomizers only last for a week or so before the flavor drops off, but at $2 or less each, I'm willing to put up with that.
