atty question.. standard or lr?

I need to order some more attys for my eGo batteries.. I've been using the standard 510s but I'm wondering if the low resistance attys would give me more vapor.. they are more expensive than the standard attys but if they are better performers then I don't mind the extra cost. Those of you who know.. are they worth it?

They aren't more expensive. Eastmall has them for $3/pc... if you don't want to order from China I believe notcigs.com has LR 510s for about 5 bucks a pop as well.

They do give more vapor than a regular 510 but longevity is an issue. You might get a few weeks to a month out of an LR 510. Personally IMO I would take the regular Joye 510, but if you like more vapor and better throat hit LR is a good option.

First off, some people have reported LR atty's killing their eGo batt's. It hasn't happened to me though. I use 2.0 ohm LR atty's and cartos mostly so that might be why. I don't know if it's a good idea to use 1.5 or 1.7 ohm stuff on an eGo. I haven't had any problem with them burning out faster, but others say they do.

Most places charge the same price for all atty's these days, at least the vendors I deal with do. LR's will produce better vapor and throat hit, but they also drain your battery a little quicker in the process.

Why not just pick up one 2.0 ohm atty on your next order just to try it. If you like it you can get more later.

you owe it to yourself to try the LR's ... eGo is a "3.7v" pv... which is a generic measurement of the voltage..(btw the actual voltage has been tested at 3.1 true voltage by a reputable poster here.)
LR's have a resistance of 1.5 to 2.0 Ohm and different brands specify which. The lower the number the hotter the vape. You can get them in 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, 2.0 Ohm. They are all different in vape to a degree.

For me 1.5 is too hot ... so you can experiment with whats best for you.

You have different atty types too: 510, 306, 901 etc... lots to try.

forgot to mention that you should know the resistance of the atty you are vaping now, to get clarity on this .... if it is a 510 that is higher Ohm than 2.4, this may be the problem... some "regular" 510's are higher than 2.4 and are not good imo for a "3.7" pv...
my favorite vape on an eGo is the "Reg" 510 that is 2.2 Ohm... ahhh just right. I like joye brand... very consistent... oh and they last longer than LR.
