I have had my Prodigy for a couple of weeks now, and I've been using it w/510 attys. I've read a lot of how great it works w/an 801. I found an 801 in the classifieds and got it yesterday.

I need to order an adapter before I try it on the Prodigy, but I also want to get some 801 attys, too.

I keep reading about the number of holes in the 801 atty - some have 3, others (incl the one I have) have 4.

Somewhere I read that PS carries the 3 hole, but I only saw the ones with 4 holes at the site.

Is it better to buy the 3 hole attys if you're going to use them w/the Prodigy? I've also been reading a lot about the higher v lower arch - which one is better for using with Prodigy?

When I use the 801 I can hear the airflow. I changed the mouth piece, but it's still making that sound, and it's loud enough to be annoying. Is that just a part of how these work?

Now that I've got the 510 and the Prodigy pretty much figured out, now I'm working on understanding the 801's so I don't order the wrong things. I know that the attys for the RN4072 are interchangeable, but are there others that will also work?

Ok, this all sounds kind of rambling...I did a number on my back a couple of days ago and after a trip to the ER, I'm gooned out on the pain meds, so bear w/me.

Hey JustMe ...

# of holes simply means amount of air coming through .... 2/3/4 holes are all available at several different vendors. I would suggest getting a couple of each and testing to find what you like best. If you don't like that *airy* sound, a 2 hole atomizer (most RN4072 atomizers) would like be your best bet :)

All you need for the 801/4072 to work on your Prodigy is the 801 adapter ... :)

Hope that helps!

Yes it does help...thanks!

Since I just have the one four hole to play with right now, is there a way to plug up one or two of them and see if that lessens the wind tunnel sound?
