Atty Resistance & Variable Voltage

I know this has been asked before, but I can't find a clear answer on this: What is the ration between atty resistance and voltage?

I ask because I'm about to get my ProVari (hopefully before Christmas) and I have attys ranging from 2.0 - 2.5, and I'm not sure what voltage is "compatible" with what resistence. For instance, if I slap on a regular resistence 510 atty, what is the highest to lowest voltage I am recommended to try it at?

I run my standard resistance joytech atties 2.5ohm at 4.3-4.5 volts...depending upon the juice I am using.

p.s. Also, I run my hv atties 4.3 ohms at about 5.5 volts. I would stay away from lr atties 1.5-1.8 ohms...kind of defeats the purpose of having a vv pv that will run at 6 volts. But the nice thing is your provari will monitor and shut itself off if it detects any excessive over-current conditions.

If this error occurs the ProVari will alert you by displaying E2 on the digital display.
Fix: Lower your voltage setting.

The recognized "sweet spot" for vaping on standard resistence attys is 4.5 volts to 5.0 volts. With a VV model, I would just stay in that range and should get nice warm vapor without any issues. I'd try the 2.0's first around 4.5 and the 2.5's a little higher.

it can vary with flavors too. I use mostly boge 2 Ohm cartos and I have a red bull flavor that is harsh and peppery/nasty tasting at 3.8v but smooth and tasty at 5V but I have a coffee flavor that is exact opposite. Generally 8 - 9 watts is where you want to be, give or take.
