I tried puresmoker.com's curtis' clove flavor, it is quite delicious, but when I attempted to switch flavors, it was all I could taste, I tried thyestean's atty resurrection technique, which can be found here, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/69834-my-atty-resurrection-method-2.html. After doing that, there was an awful burnt taste, and still a hint of the clove. So I soaked that atty in rubbing alcohol for almost a full day. After a few hours I tried to use the atty, and let me tell you, that was a terrible idea, I could taste the rubbing alcohol, and I think the burnt taste was still there. I will try again tomorrow, but I think that atty may be forever ruined.

Does anybody have a great way of getting rid of strong flavors? Or does anybody simply accept that a flavor is too strong, and designate an atty to that flavor forever.

From what I've read here, you pretty much have to designate an atty or carto to a particular flavor. Clove is a major culprit - I have a clove carto myself, and that is all it will ever be. I've heard that some liquids use oil, and that makes the stronger flavors harder to rinse out, but I'm not sure exactly which vendors do that.

Sorry I don't have better news...

I am a GUY from L.A. not girl. lol
I have one atty for menthol, one for tobacco, one for sweets and one for experimental DIY. I then have a couple others on hand for emergencies. I am using mostly cartos now, and that makes it a bit cheaper. But for my eGo, I bought a bunch of eGo mega attys when they were on sale fro a great price. And BTW, when you use Iso alc, you MUST rinse it off well in water first, then let it dry before using. Iso is no good for you.
