August Coupon Code?

Code doesn't appear to be working.
Trying to order 2 x Joye Stick kits. Total is over $40 and code has been entered in all caps, no spaces or quotes.

Yup, did that. Doesn't work. Tried 2 different browsers (IE9 & Chrome). Also tried different products in the event that the Stick was excluded from the coupon. Still no go.
Oh well.
Weird i am going to have to look into i we have been using it in store all day very very odd. but honestly.. where are you going to find a stick any cheaper including the 510 adapter and 2 stick atties lmao

Coupon Question
The Coupon works until I add a sale-item to my shop cart, which also has non-sale items.
So when I try to apply the coupon again it won't apply it to any items, unless I remove the sale-items and apply it again with just the non-sale items in the cart.
Must sale-items not be in the cart for the coupon to work with non-sale items?
Am I doing something wrong? Or am I supposed to make a separate order with sale-items in one order, and non-sale items with the coupon in another order?
I'd like to put it all together to save on shipping, and have the coupon applied to the non-sale items.
Any advice?
PS: If it's a computer glitch, I don't mind calling the order in by phone.

I will have to look into it it should apply to everything. But We do not open until 10 am and it might take me a bit to get to as i have to pack a ton of orders.
