It's a little bit like comparing apples to pears. In the end it comes down to preference.
The Boreas is far less forgiving when it comes to wicking, but has better flavor and more airflow, which results in more clouds, whereas the Engine is much easier to wick and to handle overall. Not that the Engine has bad flavor, far from that, but flavorwise the Boreas V2 clearly has the edge in my opinion. But the crux is, that the Boreas is a bit more power hungry, because I think it really shines with lower builds and vaping it at higher than 70 watts.
The Engine however is far more undemanding. Even with higher ohm builds at a wattage of around 40w this tank works quite well.
Bottom line is, I'd recommend them both, but I'd do so for different vaping styles.

For about $20, it's a pretty good vape. Doesn't leak, holds 5ml or 2ml of juice, fairly easy to build.
