No, eciggity. But it's Augvape's problem. I will probably reach out to eciggity tomorrow as well when I can call and speak to someone in the store. I'm curious if this is a one off or they've seen this before.
Yes and no. Did Augvape manufacture the product?

Yup. Augvape made it. They just sell it. The manufacturer is responsible. I'm sure eciggity will do something as they're the retailer and have always had great CS, but why stick them with the headache when it was Augvape who screwed up. It's nit like a DOA mod that I would send back. The tank works. It's just a poorly QC'd glass that augvape bought from the bubble glass making subcontractor.

It's almost identical to the smaller bubble tank that comes with a mesh pro (not the fish tank one) but the Freemax is about 2 mm taller so no swap there. Otherwise from a manufacturing perspective they look like they could have come from the same factory.

Had no idea Augvape did their own manufacturing, good bit of info there.

I assume they do. They certainly sell enough and always partner up with someone in the design phase. But they don't make their own glass and stuff. Probably just the metal machining and everything else from o rings to grub screws to drip tips from other suppliers. Then just assemble and shove in boxes.

I'm sure I'll find someone who carries it even if it's FT. Worse scenario is buying it directly from Augvape (I think they have their own online store) but only as a last step out of the principle of paying them for what should have been right in the first place.

I'd say they were responsible full stop. It's an Augvape branded tank, problems with it, back to Augvape, it's their problem.

Same as if you buy a Dell branded laptop and it develops a problem, you go back to Dell, you shouldn't have to go chasing around individual component manufacturers like Intel or Nvidia to get it sorted out. Or chase Samsung for a problem with an iPhone chip. Apple's phone, Apple's problem. Augvape designed, assembled and sold the tank as a product and are responsible for QC of the finished product regardless of whether they buy the bits in or make them. If Augvape bought the glass in it's up to them to sort the problem out with their chosen supplier, not the customer.

Not using a 510 on mine but did switch the tip out for a Recurve tip. Since the Recurve came out I've gone right off the straight tube tips.

last build i had in it was a 2.5 ID staggered stapled fused thingy. think i installed it too high as the flavour just wasn't there.
back to an ni80 alien this morning (my 5th build in it I think) and it is much improved. sitting maybe 2mm above the air flow. will get another black one next month to sit on the double barrel... should it ever arrive.

Tried several wicking options too, gone over to the dam method exclusively now, even watching Mike Vapes wick it I found there was still too much wick in the wells, doesn't need much if any at all. No mouthfuls of juice since. I found this video the best on wicking it, saw some of the tutorials while I was waiting for it to come and I have no idea how some of them get it to wick with THAT much cotton stuffed in the wells:

Tried a few coil types too, just stick with frame stapled aliens now. I normally prefer claptons on tanks but as the air comes from underneath I find aliens perform well on this :)

vic kept the coil too low for me. not by much but i think raising it a mm or two does help with the flavour. totally agree with the dam method. not a hint of a leak.

Yeah I was looking at it more for the wicking rather than coil placement, all the videos I've seen have it way down. I could understand it perhaps if the flavour difference was only negligible but for me it's not, way better if the coil is raised.

Does make you wonder (that's if more food for thought was needed) with these videos, is it a case of: bang a coil it, vape it, yeah that tastes awesome, next. As I've said before, infomercials mostly.

Yeah that dam wicking method is pretty much the same you need on Aromamizer tanks. Fluffy, laid on top with no wicking in the actual juice hole. Not enough and you can get some flooding, but unlike an Aromamizer there's no leaking thanks to top air.

Still with another GTA styled deck like the Engines, getting some cotton resting in the holes, but not extending to the bottom of the well works best. You just have to play around until you find each tanks sweet spot.

Why do I read these threads? Had to go and buy one. Just what I need, another RTA. :)
You won't regret the purchase. Close as I've found to the Nano for flavor and af. Actually a touch better for dessert and nut vapes.

You just didn't know that you needed it until the folks here told you. It happens to me all the time. Probably the reason why I have 200+ flavorings.

So true. I was actually happy with my under 200 stash until Fran started that damn thread.
