1. Tell us which feature of the Aura mini you like most.

2. Give us some suggestions regarding the design and user features of the Aura mini.

I like that it's top filling, and easy for out and about

USB charging, rba piece in addition to the coils
being able to purchase all seperately as well as in a kit

1. Tell us which feature of the Aura mini you like most.
2. Give us some suggestions regarding the design and user features of the Aura mini.
Best features (for me anyway):
1A: I like the shape of the mouthpiece (but see 2A below).
1B: Top air intake and sealed bottom kind of go together. That makes for (presumably) a leak-proof tank. Is it? Even if I lay it on its side?
1C: Top fill means I don't have to remove the tank from the mod to fill it (but see 2E below).
Suggestions regarding design:
2A: The mouthpiece needs to be rotatable because some people press the "on/fire" button with their thumb and others use their forefinger. If the mouthpiece is fixed, someone will be unhappy because they will either have to change their habit or vape it upside-down.
2B: I would like a battery of at least 2500 mah because at the lower resistance of the coils, this thing can potentially eat up battery life rapidly.
2C: I would like a clear tank or at least a larger viewport to better assess how much juice I have left. I stopped using Aspire tanks for this reason - I could not judge whether I had enough left in the tank to go do chores and not run out.
2D: The stainless steel look is pretty, but that has two drawbacks. Most people like their shiny toys to say something about them, so they want a selection of colors. Barring that option, I suggest offering it in stainless bare metal or brass or some combination, or even an etched design in the metal that would not only improve the look but would double as a grip so it won't slide out of the hand so easily. Also, anodizing can give you color without using paint.
2E: The likable feature 1C has a potential difficulty with changing coils in this design. Everyone is used to taking the tank off to change the coil/wick assembly and this one appears to just submerge within the e-juice. How's that for cleanability? Are you going to have to do a lot of wiping down before changing the coil?
Price:
Somewhere in the $30-40 range. Bear in mind that one can acquire a lot of mods for that price or less (up to 40 Watts and with TC mode), so even with the unique features/design of the Aura mini, if it is priced higher, how many will buy it?

I've grown to love the look of a lot of box mods but it wasn't that way at first. I wanted the slim, cigalike look but now, since I have to have the functionality of the box mods I come to love the way they look. Now, the tubes are different. A lot of them kind of look like something else and not something I want to carry around among the people that have no idea what it is I have in my mouth. js

The Aura Mini doesn't have that look and it's one I would carry with me and use.

As far as the capacity of the tank, I think the easy-fill feature would make up for that. Battery life... you have a point about that but I'd just have to see how well it served me for out and about. I'd really want to use the .5 ohm coil.

Aaahahaha, about that js part...
I really like tubes made by Dicodes. Sadly, I'll never own one, unless I win a lottery or pick up a second-hand one, haha.

I'm fairly inexperienced, since I own a grand total of two tanks and two mods, so I was really amazed just how much difference a 'small' change in resistance can make. I was rocking my TFV4 with stock tricoil head(.2ohm) at around 60 - 70W. It drank juice like mad and on my Koopor Mini, which is 60W max, I went through 4 batteries a day. Once I got the dual coil RBA head, I gave the pre-installed coils a try (.25ohm). Instead of 60 -70W I could go all the way down to 35-40W, which resulted in much lower juice consumption and instead of four fully charged 18650's, I go through only two batteries! So 2x better battery life, when going from .2ohm tricoil to .25ohm dualcoil.

@v1ks_ !!!! Where have you been? I missed you! Hi. :D

Doesn't this mod look like the perfect pen-style vape for someone just starting out? I bet your friend would love it! the coils are .5 and 1.0 and the tank is about 2 ml but it is a top fill. Cool, right?

Awww, thanks @cooladdict!
I've been super busy IRL. Bit off more than I can chew... signed up for too many online courses, so they're eating up all my spare time now. :) And spare time has become a rare commodity too. Ever since that promotion/sidemotion at work, most of the days I'm working till 6PM, instead of 4:30PM like I'm supposed to. :)
What about you? Anything new and exciting?

I totally agree! Aura looks like the perfect for someone just starting out! Depending on the price, it will have little to no competition imho. All the other pen-style stuff I'm aware of, has smaller battery, doesn't have top-fill and doesn't look as nice!

To enter the contest:

1. Tell us which feature of the Aura mini you like most.
2. Give us some suggestions regarding the design and user features of the Aura mini.

If possible, with your suggested price posted;)

Here are my two cents...
1. In my opinion no single feature of the Aura really stands out. It's all of them combined, which make Aura a really appealing and in a way - unique product. However, if I -have- to name one, it would be the top-fill. However, like I already wrote, it's all of them combined, that makes this device stand out - dimensions and battery life, combined with top-fill and leak proof design.

2. If you have any plans to offer Aura in different colours, use something like CVD or PVD coating or alternatively, vinyl stickers/skins. I really see this device in the hands of a woman, which almost immediately means jewelry/rings, which in turn means scratches on the device. Painted/powder coated stuff that's chipping off, or getting scratched off just look terrible. Perhaps make different colour options for the driptip available as well. A carry case would also be a nice feature... especially handy if you want to carry your Aura in your purse, together with that disassembled V8 engine or whatever else ladies carry around with them. :)

Now, as for the price. You've presented Aura next to an eGo One and iJust 2, so I'm pretty sure you know what your direct competitors are and how much their products cost. That being said, based on the unique set of features present in the Aura, I'd say it's MSRP could be something like $49.99 and the actual street price in the region of $40.

Thanks for the chance!

Now, I hope Vera doesn't mind me sharing this info, but... I found a review of Aura Mini in Russian.
If you want, you can use Google Translate, but pictures alone say quite a lot.
Since I happen to be fluent in Russian, here's a TL;DR for those who don't want to bother with translating.
The reviewer wasn't impressed with the tank, or rather, with the airflow of the tank. You won't be chucking any clouds, even with the .5ohm coil. He also presented his solution how to improve the airflow.
He was, however, very impressed with the battery itself. It's very well built and he managed to go through 5ml of juice with a single charge, using a MicroDrip tank by Chels. This would imply that on 1.0ohm coil going MTL, it would last you even longer. :)

You know, after looking at those additional pictures and reading the review, I want one myself, haha!

I'm always late to the party, but I'm here. :D

1. Tell us which feature of the Aura mini you like most.
I really love top fill tanks now. They make it super easy, especially for beginners and us lazy folk. The mouth piece looks very interesting.

2. Give us some suggestions regarding the design and user features of the Aura mini.
Would love to see this come in different colors. Some nice pinks, blues, purples, greens, etc.

I'm sure other people have already mentioned the same things, but great minds think alike and all that jazz.

I figured you were busy with school. I am still chugging along in my own classes and I am really loving it! Not so much today, though, because my laptop may be toast. Not cool when I have a major assignment due this week! [emoji15] I'm doing a refresh right now but as slow as its going I am ready to run to Staples and just charge a new one!! Sigh. I blame Homer. He knocked it off it's stand and probably sealed its fate. [emoji57]

1. Tell us which feature of the Aura mini you like most.

I like that it's a small form factor device with sub ohm ability. This makes it a good potential choice for both new and experienced vapors. The anti spit mouthpiece is pretty cool also.

2. Give us some suggestions regarding the design and user features of the Aura mini.

This is a little difficult without the device in hand, but I will say if the airflow holes being on top will stop leaking, that's a pretty great feature. The one button and overall simple yet sleek design are attractive. Actually, I wouldn't change anything at this point, that could change though once I've used it. I'm not sure yet about the top filling aspect, like mentioned by someone else, it looks like there could be a problem. Can't tell without seeing device in person.

Price: Considering all the features work as planned i'd say $45-$50 for the kit.
