Can anyone post a link to a site in the US that sells (and has in stock) authentic button top LG HG2 batteries like the ones below?

Probably an LG HG2 button-top rewrap is the Orbtronic 3000mah 20 amp. I can't say with 100% certainy that its an LG, but Orbtronics is a reputable battery vendor who rewraps/rebrands authentic Panasonic, Samsung, and LG batteries. I would have no reservations substituting their variety if I couldn't get it from IMRBatteries.

I got tired of waiting for those to come back in stock, so I ordered a bunch of these from here: Flat Top Battery Adapter. I had to hammer the little brass pins down quite a bit before mounting, as they stick out pretty far, but once done they work great. Just set them on top of your battery and shrink 'em on with some clear shrink wrap. I haven't seen HG2 button tops anywhere else.

edit: Baditude posting while I was writing, but I agree that those ones from Orbtronic are very likely HG2s. Thanks for pointing those out, Bad. I hadn't noticed those before for some reason.

Interesting. I wasn't aware there was an LG HG2 Button Top. I use AW button tops in my REO Grands. I would use LGs if they're available.

It is a provari 2.5. They built those to only allow for a button top battery...

HG2 batteeies are flat top batteries not button top. I use HG2 batteeies every day.

LG Chem doesn't manufacture button top LG HG2, someone is adding the button.
While they may be using an actual LG HG2 cell, they also may not be.

IMO, If you want a button top 18650 for a provari best to stick with AW 2200mah 20a 18650 or what Baditude suggested.
