So I recently purchased this item from the classifieds and can't tell if it's authentic or not.

It shows some signs of being authentic but at the same time it is missing some elements.

Now I have one that I know is real and it looks like this.

Also here is one that is a clone

The brass one has a copper middle post like the green one. But the brass one does not sit flush on it's bass nor does it have #flawless on the bottom of it.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

flawless vapes has a Facebook page and you may be able to send them pictures through facebook messenger. I own 2 Tugboats one says #flawless one doesn't both are real, both have a tugboat and the letters USA and the driptip numbers are the same as on the bottoms... Every time I've messaged them on Facebook they've responded. Sorry I couldn't help more, good luck!

I can tell you that I have a brass tugboat that came directly from flawless. The serial number on mine is way higher than that, my bottom on the brass one looks exactly like the one on the green one. Did your brass one come with the drip tip?

If you would like, later this evening I can snap some pics of my brass one that came directly from flawless.

I dont think the brass one got cloned did it? And I dont think if it did it has the copper pin either. I could also be wrong on this also. I know they did a couple new things from the first ones they did, then the brass ones and the colored ones. I have an authentic NJ one and it doesnt have #flawless or USA on the bottom.

I talked to the guys over at Flawless and was informed that yes this is 100% authentic. He informed me they did not start adding #flawless till the clones were being made. Before the clones were made it looked like the bottom of the brass one I have. Other than that he did say my insulator needs to be replaced but I already knew that ;)

Oh and the Tugboat V2 is coming out on Monday so get your credit cards ready because its going to be a beast :).

Balls! I just bought a Tugboat and a Tarsius 4nine mod, both new and "authentic" at Cignot in Denver, CO. There aren't a lot of markings on the 4nine to really authenticate it but it seems legit. My Tugboat is completely different on the bottom than any pictured here though. Hopefully it's real though because they charged me $95 + tax!

The pics on the flawless site show the bottom like mine with only a serial number. The shop I got it from also had the Illinois version with bead blast finish, the shorter driptip and copper + post. I actually liked the look of it better but I don't think I've ever even been to IL! I don't remember the markings on the bottom though!
