I have a V4L 5V passthrough with 901 threads. I only have 510 parts, so I got a 901-510 adapter to use my attys, and the problem is it doesn't seem to work. I don't know if it's not making contact or if the problem is the grooves for air to pass through are on the 510 side of the adapter instead of the 901 side.

Doesn't work... Lame... wanted to get some use out of my regular resistance 510 parts now that I've been spoiled on LR parts.

Try loosening up the connector on either the battery side, the atty side or both, and see if you get any draw at all. Technically V4L threads are KR808D1 not 901s, mostly interchangeable but not perfect in certain instances. Although some of the 901 adapters will accommodate the 808, some won't because the air comes from different places on the equipment; hole in the side of the 901 atty, holes in the sides of the 808 threads and notches on the bottom of the carto. The one I have (that works) has notches on the 510 side for airflow but still can't be tightened all the way.

Yeah it only pulls air through notches on the 510 atty side, but the battery side is where the holes are for the auto battery switch i think. So i either need some sort of 901-510 adapter that has the notches on the 901 side, or I just need a 5V 510 PT. I tried filing notches on the 901 side and covering the notches by the atty with tape, but I still wasn't getting any airflow. if it's not screwed on all the way it doesn't seem to make good contact with the battery.

Oh well, the PT was a freebie from the twin cities vape meet, and I've still got some cartos that work with it, and the adapter was just a couple bucks.
