Auto battery won't turn off

When I inhale it comes on, but then it doesn't turn off. Till I take the carto off and blow in it. Anyone have any suggestion on how to fix it. I tried clean it with a cloth dipped in 91% alcohol didn't work. Should I try dipping the threaded end into some and letting it dry?

Dreadful (sir or Ms.?) did you get juice in the batt? If so, Snow Dragon sir has posted a fix, not a guaranteed fix, but worth a shot:

the other thing I have found that sometimes will work is to remove the bezel/ash/jewel cap and blow into the battery really hard for a couple of seconds.
