Ok, so I've been told that auto batts can turn on with wind, vibration, noise etc. but I've never actually witnessed this. Well last night I found a carto condom (lol, I was going to just say condom but then realized how the mental pictures would look) while at work and didn't know where to put it so I wouldn't lose it. I decided to put it on the ash cap end of my batt. When I put it on the LED came on! It was weird at first but then I started playing with it :D If I push the condom on quickly it actually fires up the carto!! So I guess if air goes in it triggers the sensor. I just thought it was crazy to see!! I don't have any manual batts. One day I will try them, but I just can't imagine pushing a button every time I want to vape.
So I was wondering if there are any others out there that have witnessed an auto batt firing up without them using it?
[DISCLAIMER] It's ok to go off topic on this thread if you want. I would've posted my question on another thread but didn't want to step on any toes.

Happy :vapor:

Harmony....you would be surprised at how quickly you get acclimated to pushing that button...and then when you switch to the auto, you look for the button.....lol

The only time I have had an auto fire is lol...when I have it in my mouth and am talking...or trying to talk...lol....It is REAL windy here today, so I should take one outside and see what happens:D

Lol Keelala!! That sounds like something I would do!! Let me know how it goes :)

Lujin lol. I actually did some experimenting. If I suckon the ash cap end nothing hapens. I think it's a one way switch. Like if I blow on the carto it doesn't fire up. It was pretty interesting though!

Yeah, try blowing on the ash cap end, that would be the same as sucking on the mouth piece.

That works, but I didn't know how to describe what I did. It doesn't work if I hold it away from my mouth and blow on it. But if I put it in my mouth and put pressure on it, like forcing air into it then it lights up.

I started with a manual battery, and now have an auto in my collection.
I believe I prefer the manuals over the auto. You have more control with the manual.

I like the idea of "turning it on" and then taking a draw. Sometimes it can be frustrating when the carto is cold and I'm not getting any vapor. I've seen videos of just pushing the button to warm up the carto and then vaping and it looks amazing!! I'm actually thinking of getting a manual PT for my truck. Less frustration when I'm driving would be good. Especially with Houston traffic!

Yep, same thing happened to me. I played for a while too until I realized I was wasting precious juice & battery time! LOL

LOL!!! Yeah, it only worried me because when I fired it up a puff of vapor came out while I was at work!! I have plenty of batts and juice so I wasn't too worried about running them down. Although I have so many carto condoms that saving one just added to my stash! So it was kinda silly to worry about losing it! Especially since I had already replaced it on the carto that I had lost it from in the first place!

This is also why dropping an Auto Batt in the water is almost certain death! :(

I hope I never do that!! I have 4 batts...is that enough? How many do all of you have?
Although my dh has taken over one completely, so I guess I only have 3.

Right now I have 10 XL's & 2 reg's ...(I'm trying to stock up so when I loose power during hurricane season, I can still keep vaping, LOL)
