Auto-subscribe feature?

Hey, I dunno if this is possible, in place (and I missed it), or has a work-around, but I was hoping that there was a way to automatically track threads that I create or post in such that I get email notifications when a new post has been added. I know the vast majority of users hate these types of features, but it really helps me when I am tracking via mobile or on my slow lab machine. Thanks in advance!

Have you set your Notifications to "Instant"?

Go to settings, general settings, and it's under messages & notifications. Can subscribe instantly via email.

It is nice when there is an On Going conversation or some Hot Topic.
