less control. Thats about it. I like to "warm" my vape before hitting it by firing for a second or 2 before pulling. This would not be possible with an auto. Aside from that... IDK if there are any other disadvantages.
The main disadvantage is if juice gets into the inside of the battery it will ruin it. There are sealed ones but they don't seem to work as good as the unsealed. The one from mtn vapor is unsealed but the airhole is very small and it will be very hard to get juice in it unless it leaks like a sieve.
There might not be any sealed 510 egos but my experience was with the sealed sealed 808 echo. Actually there aren't any autos that are completely sealed they just locate the airhole in the base instead of the post.
I've read enough of Tx's and Charlz's posts by now that if they recommend the one from Mountain Vapor, then that's the one I would put my money into. They haven't steered me wrong yet.
