I'm trying to decide between these two ego kits. I am just wondering what is the difference between the push button and the automatic one? Pros and cons? On the push button one what are the difference of ohm on the coils? And will I have to be replacing the coils after a period of use on the automatic and push button?

Autos will just fire when you inhale

Button will allow you to fire the carto or tank or clearo early to get it to temperature so you aren't puffing as long

some people have issues with autos not firing consistently due to restricted airflow from the front of the device or firing when in pocket or purse

button can be turned off when in pocket or purse

I started with autos and quickly switched to buttons if this helps at all

buttons are easy to get used to and you will be familiar with its use when you start ordering $1000s of dollars of new mods when they get released every month

Hello and welcome to ecf.

Yes automatics do have their problems. They have a cutoff as to how long you can take a draw and if ejuice gets spilled down into the head pin can actually kill the battery. Manuels one(with buttons) have a sealed head pin and therefore no ejuice can get to the battery. And you can take longer tokes, if desired. Yes, they have a 10 sec cutoff also, but once you release the button, you can immed press it again. Automatics, I think you may have to wait a couple of secs first.

Thank you for you replies! So the push button it is! Now one question none of you answered was about the coils, how often do I need to replace them? Because I don't want this to become a hobby where I'm ordering parts online all the time. I see this as buy the vaporizer and buy e-liquid when I'm out of it.

Sorry, did not read about what coils/clearomizers you are referring to? When you smoked analogs, how often did you -restock on those? Things do wear out and if you are serious about vaping you will need backup batteries, so if something breaks you will have something to use. It is not as easy as running down to the corner store and re-stocking.(altho it is becoming easier to do that).
Just out of curosity, do you plan on replacing the cigarettes with an ecig? Are you a heavy smoker, or a light one?

:)

It will all depend on a number of factors as to how long the coils will last. Some juices will degrade or gunk up the coils faster than others. If you are using a variable voltage / variable wattage unit (Highly recommended in my opinion) the settings you use will make a difference in how long the coils last. I can guarantee that you will have to keep buying coils and will probably upgrade your equipment as you learn more. At some point you may get into building your own coils and mixing your won E-Liquids, which will save you a ton of money! It all depends on how far you want to get into it.

EGO / Riva Kit and Accessories

Those are probably at 3.7v, if you want an automatic I would recommend one of Ikenvapes regulated at 3.96v

If we come to see, I am a very light smoker. A pack last me about a week and a half. About 2-3 analogs a day. I started vaping about a week ago with a cigalike ecig. I'm starting to realize that vaping will turn out to cost me more. I am just 19yo college student, I don't have tons of $ to be spending on vaping equipment. For me a $50 investment on juice and the ego is quite a lot.

-How much would 30 ml last?
-I was thinking of buying very berry juice from madvapes, is that something that will kill my coils life?
-Where can I find cheap coils? Any suggestions? I found them for $2.50 each on nhaler.
-What do different ohm do?

Oh and another thing is that, I don't think my smoke shop has much vaping equipment. Ill be checking this week what they have. I honestly really appreciate the kindness of ecig forum members for helping me! Thank you very much!
